SAFII KOII
Safii Koii is a London-based singer, producer, and engineer building her sound from the ground up. Her music blends soulful vulnerability with intimate lyricism, equal parts delicate and deliberate, entwining alt-R&B textures, indie melodies, and experimental touches.
With a hands-on approach to writing, mixing, and producing, her process is as personal as the songs themselves. Influences from FKA twigs and Tame Impala to James Blake and Gorillaz show up in the details: warped synths, shifting rhythms, and emotionally sharp turns.
After a viral TikTok cover of Kate Bush’s “Army Dreamers”, Safii gained over 50K followers, but it’s her original work that’s keeping listeners in. Her single “POSTERS” was picked up by BBC Introducing Yorkshire and spotlighted on BBC6 Music.
Now studying at Abbey Road Institute, a dream she’s funding through her own ongoing community-led campaign, she’s part of a new wave of multi-hyphenate artists redefining independence not just out of necessity, but with intention.
